Alinea runs one of Denmark's most widely used teacher platforms. I have develop and build art workshops for it — from the first idea through to finished material. That means writing, designing, painting, cutting, photographing. Hands in everything.

Each workshop translates a visual arts method into something a teacher can pick up and use directly in the classroom. The courses below are designed for years 7 and 8 — students preparing for their final art exam. At that stage it matters that they have met as many techniques as possible. Not to master all of them. To find the ones that feel natural. And to understand that making something does not mean making it perfect.

So I developed short, focused workshops that can be taught in just a few lessons. In Denmark, part of the final art exam is a portfolio — a showcase of everything the student has made throughout years 7 and 8. Each workshop adds something to that body of work.
